Community Guidelines

When opening an account with MyPokerBlog you will be given the possibility to interact with a lot of people. Even though this is a free site and you can blog about everything on your mind, you will have to go by certain guidelines.

  1. Posts, comments and private messages (PM’s) cannot contain offensive, condescending or discrimination language.
  2. Posts, comments and PM’s cannot contain copyrighted material without all a written approval from the owner. MyPokerBlog can claim to see documentation for this.
  3. Posts, comments and PM’s may not contain referral links, affiliate links, bonus codes or other information that can be said to be in competition with MyPokerBlogs interests without a written agreement with the management of MyPokerBlog. It is not allowed to make hints, word puzzles or in any way try to get around this rule. In the same way, it is not allowed to link to/write about/refer to etc. to websites that uses affiliate links.
  4. Posts, comments and PM’s cannot contain sales object that are not poker related sales objects. If object is not a private object, advertising it not allowed at all.
  5. Comments and PM’s cannot contain personal applications for staking deals unless it is on offer of being a staker. Active suggestions of personal stake deals will terminate your account at MyPokerBlog. However, if you want to apply for a horse, you are free to do so. In that case, profiles may write about the subject. The important distinction is whether the receiver of the comment or PM has applied for horses.
  6. Operators may use MyPokerBlog for marketing campaigns under the circumstances that MyPokerBlog affiliate links are used. These accounts are passive, and thus they cannot post comments about these promotions on other profiles.
  7. Posts, comments and PM’s cannot contain links for discussion, download or distribution of copyrighted material. This can be poker books, movies or other material distributed over the internet.
  8. MyPokerBlog has the right to obstruct the mail box or exclude an account from MyPokerBlog if the person behind it is trying to obtain personal information that we find to be in conflict with the above mentioned rules (being contact information via MSN, phone numbers, player nicks or other information).

MyPokerBlog can change the rules of the community if we find it necessary. Such changes to the rules will be found in this section with a date for the change.

All posts and comments on the sites from users do not necessarily represent the view of MyPokerBlog or our values.
